A New Year With Elohim

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8

As the new year begins, many of us are filled with enthusiasm and optimism for what lies ahead. It can also be disquieting if you are anxious about the future…wondering whether the problems and disasters of the past will repeat themselves.

Personal problems, disappointments, and financial setbacks as well as international crises may cloud our vision of the future.

To alleviate this, we can start off the new year by committing ourselves to Elohim, our All-Knowing omniscience God. Making the choice to give control of your life over to Him can be incredibly rewarding, a feeling of peace like no other. He truly loves you as no other can.

The beginning of this new year is an opportunity for us all to take a few minutes and remember our dedication to being better people in His eyes – all it takes is some time spent in prayer to shield ourselves from any potential disappointment or difficulty we may encounter in the upcoming year. Believe in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) promises and approach the new year in His loving presence. With Elohim as our guide, we can have faith that whatever this journey has in store for us, He knows what is best for us and will always be with us every step of the way.

Thank you, Father, for your constant love and guidance for me. My trust is in You as I go about my day. Help me to hear and obey Your instructions. Amen.
